Sofía Urbina

Sofia Urbina, the driving force behind Art Advisory Services, has worked in the art world since 1998. Her experience is the result of working in New York and London where she has lived for 10 and 5 years respectively. Sofia has worked at Chiristie’s, several galleries and at art publications at Brandt Publications and LTB Media. She has also curated photography shows in NY and Dubai and has been the correspondent for several cities at Arte y Parte magazine. Most recently, Sofia has given talks on contemporary art and its market at Insituto de Empresa in Madrid and at the young art fair Just Mad in Madrid. In addition, last March she participated in a talk at Caixa Forum Barcelona on the public and private colaboration of cultural management.

After living in NY and London for 18 years, Sofia currently resides in Madrid.

Sofia has colaborated in the cultural section of ok diario (2017- 2018) and ABC cultural (2018). Since 2018 she successfully teaches the class “Contemporary Art and its market” at IE University.

Pilar Rodríguez-Toubes Osborne graduated from Richmond University London, in 1997 where she did a joint degree in Communications and Art History.
She lived in Vermont (USA) where she graduated from high school. In Europe she has lived in Paris, London and Madrid.
Currently Pilar is living in Amsterdam, where she founded two business ventures, Pilar Chica (shoes retail and design) and Weddinglick (online wedding portal).
She is also a board member for Stichting Bio Gala, a Dutch based foundation-raising funds to help disabled children.
Her professional experience as an entrepreneur was published in various important Dutch magazines like Quote and Jackie.
Since October 2013, she works at Art Advisory Services managing the Dutch market.

Cecilia graduated from English Language and Literature at La Plata University of humanities and philosophy in Buenos Aires. In addition to her degree, Cecilia has taken several art courses and seminars on contemporay art, art dealing and art critic. She is also an important art collector in Argentina, with a great art sensibility. Has advised on important art collections in Argentina and abroad.

Anthony Japour is an American contemporary art advisor and life-long collector based in Miami, Florida. In 2002, Anthony opened AJ Japour Gallery, a private international contemporary art space in Miami Beach where he mounted numerous exhibitions of emerging and established artists.
Over the decade, the AJ Japour Gallery focused on the Chinese Contemporary Art Movement

Since 2010, Japour has been contributing a monthly art column in SocialMiami.com with reviews of contemporary art exhibitions.
Anthony Japour and his art collection has been featured in NY Arts Magazine, Art & Antiques, Elle Decor Paris, Éclectique, and Miami Modern Luxury magazines.

Japour is known as an expert in the Chinese Contemporary Art Movement about which he lectures. Recent transactions have included placement of works by Sterling Ruby and Fred Tomaselli into important private collections.
